Adventures in Wallet Making

My last wallet fell apart this summer. It was made out of some sort of fake leather. I really liked it... It was this but in an olive green color. Apparently the wallet did not like summer, heat or humidity because the fabric tore off when I would try to take my cards and license out of it. In my book that is a fail, because I need to get to my insurance card every once and a while. As much as I want to save money, I also need my bank card. So... I decided to try making my own. This is my first time trying patchwork, a zipper, and home-made bias tape that I have tried. I think it turned out pretty well.
